K.V. Over his career, he has consistently aligned financial strategy with long-term growth, strengthened governance frameworks and embedded analytics into enterprise transformation.
Hariharan retired as Senior Vice President – Finance, Strategic Planning and Data Analytics at Amway India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., where he played a pivotal role in evolving the company’s positioning from FMCG to health and wellness. His leadership was marked by strategic initiatives that drove sustained growth, enhanced shareholder value and established a culture of disciplined financial management.
Earlier, he spent over a decade with ITC Hotels, building a strong foundation in finance and operations before moving into broader corporate leadership roles. He has also advised leading banks and financial institutions, helping them strengthen governance, optimize capital deployment, and innovate within treasury and financial management. His work in treasury earned six Adam Smith Awards, one of the most prestigious global recognitions in corporate finance, honoring innovation and excellence in treasury solutions that deliver measurable impact for organizations.
Hariharan is also the Founder and Managing Partner of Bharat Antah Prerna Consulting LLP, a venture dedicated to advising corporates and institutions on finance strategy, treasury optimization and analytics driven decision making. Through this initiative, he continues to mentor CXOs and boards, enabling organizations to scale sustainably while maintaining compliance and profitability.
Academically, Hariharan holds an MBA in Finance and is a certified Independent Director, accredited by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, with additional certification from KPMG.
