Deepak Chandra serves as Mentor & Strategic Advisor at Valamm.AI, he is a distinguished Independent Advisor in the education sector with over 36 years of cross-sector experience spanning industry, academia, and social development. His expertise covers the full spectrum of education — K–12, test preparation, ed-tech, vocational skilling, higher education and corporate learning.
Deepak formerly served as the Deputy Dean at the Indian School of Business (ISB), one of the world’s leading management institutions with global partnerships including Wharton, Kellogg, London Business School and MIT Sloan. As part of ISB’s top leadership team, he played a key role in shaping the school’s strategic and operational roadmap. He also built ISB’s Executive Education practice, which grew under his leadership to become the largest in India.
Before ISB, Deepak founded and ran a successful vocational education and consulting venture for eight years, establishing multiple training centers in North India and enabling employment for more than 1,500 young learners. Over the years, he has trained, mentored and advised numerous organizations across the private, public, government and social sectors on business development, leadership and capability building.
Today, Deepak continues to contribute to the education ecosystem as a Board Member and trusted advisor to multiple institutions, bringing a unique blend of strategic insight, operational experience and deep human understanding.
