As a seasoned Corporate lawyer and Company secretary, he has guided enterprises through complex legal landscapes which includes litigation/ non – litigation, Mergers and Acquisitions, compliance management, “India Entry’ advisory, Contract management and corporate structuring /restructuring. His career reflects a consistent commitment to aligning legal frameworks with strategic business growth.
Omprakash is the Founder and Director of Conscientia Consultancy Pvt Ltd and Conscientia Law Associates (www.conscientia.in), where he has advised corporates, startups and SMEs on legal and business strategy. His expertise spans corporate law, intellectual property rights, governance, risk management, foreign collaborations, joint ventures and regulatory compliance. He has represented organizations in negotiations and liaised extensively with regulatory agencies, financial institutions, and statutory authorities including RBI, ROC and SEZ bodies.
Academically, Omprakash holds a Bachelor of Law (BL) degree, is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS) and earned a Master’s Diploma in Business Management (Finance) from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies. He has been conferred the title of Doctor of Excellence (Honoris Causa) by CIAC Global for his outstanding achievements in corporate law.
Beyond his professional practice, Omprakash is an active contributor to industry bodies and forums. He has served on committees of BCIC, ASSOCHAM, FKCCI and MCCI and is a sought-after speaker at NASSCOM, ICSI, and leading academic institutions. He is active in BCIC as Management Committee Member and Chairman of Expert Committee for corporate and Economic Affairs. He has also been a part of the delegation tram led by BCIC to NSEIX, IFSCA, IIXB, Gift city, Gandhinagar in March 2025. He conducts various webinar, seminar, events and awareness programs on various topics of interest for the benefit the business sector.
Omprakash has also conducted international workshops, which includes a seminar on FDI in Tokyo, Japan, in June 2015 and continues to mentor entrepreneurs and startups, offering practical solutions to complex legal and business challenges. In September 2025, Omprakash was part of the BCIC delegation to Osaka and Kyoto, Japan, where he participated in Expo 2025 Osaka. The delegation also had the privilege of meeting the Mayor of Osaka, further strengthening international collaboration and exchange.
