The Mandate

These requirements apply to all AWS Partners — ISVs, Consulting, Technology, Training, SI, and Distribution partners. Timely completion protects your partner status, co-sell eligibility, and access to AWS Partner Funding Benefits including MDF, MAP, promotional credits, CEI, and the BOX Program.

Partner Revenue Measurement (PRM)
PRM replaces self-reported revenue estimates with automated, tag-based attribution — so every dollar of AWS consumption your solutions drive is accurately credited to you. Three things are required:
- Create an AWS Marketplace listing (public or limited)
- Link your AWS account to Partner Central
- Apply
aws-apn-idtags to your AWS resources
PRM supports 80+ AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Bedrock and SageMaker. Automated tagging is available via CloudFormation, CDK, Terraform and AWS Tag Editor.

Partner Central Migration (PCM)
Partner Central is moving into the AWS Management Console — with IAM-based security, SSO/MFA, the Amazon Q Partner Assistant, and enhanced APIs. Migration typically takes 2–6 hours:
- Review readiness and identify stakeholders
- Link your AWS account to your APN account
- Set up IAM access with SSO integration
- Execute the self-service migration and validate users
Early movers gain immediate access to IAM-based security, Amazon Q Partner Assistant, and APIs not available on the legacy portal.
What's at stake if you don't act
Non-compliance can result in loss of partner status, co-selling eligibility, and access to AWS Partner Funding Benefits — with no announced grace period. On the upside: partners with verified revenue data see 51% higher revenue growth, 65% higher close rates, and 54% larger deals in co-sell engagements.
